how come this place doesn't have all 5 stars? I order here for lunch every single day. I wish they would just deliver the food without having to order. Everything I've tried here is excellent. I really love the healthy choices, specially the Tilapia with Veggies. Great great great to order lunch in the gables.

This is my go-to breakfast spot because it's right in my building and it's usually only 5 minutes, even with a line, to get a great cup of Cuban coffee and Cuban toast. Lunch time is also convenient for very fresh soups and pretty nice sized sandwiches although you are looking at paying closer to $10 which is a little hard to justify when Subway's is a little bit around the block and always has inexpensive specials, but again the food is fresh and good.

This place is your typical cafe with a twist. They have a great selection that ranges from pasta to salads to amazing daily specials. My favorite thing is the Key West salad with salmon and the amazing ginger dressing. I've become a total addict!!!! They have really great arepas, empanadas, and tequenos. Also the staff if super friendly! They always have a smile on their face. Ohh, before I forget they make the BEST cream of squash soup I have ever had.

I hate to do this but i was so dissapointed with my breakfast order today. Ordered the croissant with egg and turkey and what i received was a sloppy mess.. the croissant was burned, cheese wasnt even melted and the food took forever :(

This place was decent a few years ago, but it's been going downhill. They are consistent about getting orders wrong, slow service, running out of soup, and refusing to put salt & pepper on a breakfast sandwich. I've officially given up on getting food from here unless it's the pan de bono, a brownie, or OJ. The fresh squeezed OJ is what prevents this from being 1 star.

The boss and I wanted something fresh, filling and fast so what do i do Whip out my handy Iphone Yelp app to find us some good eats. After entering Delivery, Coral Gables we came upon Alhambra Station cafe. Now the website doesn't give any real description as to what each entree is so you may have to give them a call. After speaking with the cashier I placed my order : A Manhattan station salad, A salzedo station sandwich and 1/2 a Le jeune station wrap. The quoted time for delivery was 30 minutes, but it got here much faster then that I'd say about 15-20 minutes. The spinach was fresh and the grilled chicken was moist needless to say we were extremely satisfied ! I'm sorry if anyone else is having a bad experience maybe it was just an off day regardless I will happily be back to try more goodies !

Every morning my office orders breakfast from here. They have good prices, speedy delivery and are perfect when you need a cafe con leche to get your morning going. I like the whole wheat toast - it's like a whole wheat baguette that they butter and press like Cuban toast. Lunch is ok -- sandwiches and salads are hit and miss. My favorite is the Merrick Way Station - fresh mozzarella, tomato and prosciutto on baguette.

Breakfast staples include cafe con leche accompanied by an order of a tostada or toasted bagel with cream cheese. Croquetas are not so great and empanadas are alright... overall, pastries are nothing amazing. Every day, they have lunch specials from carne con papas and ropa vieja to pasta and stir fry dishes. The portions are more than satisfying and decently priced for the Coral Gables area. For lunch, I prefer ordering their soup and sandwich combo. The chicken soup is delicious and great on days when its cold or you're not feeling 100%. I like to pair the soup with their Valencia sandwich on a french baguette. Great stop for a quick breakfast or lunch stop.

Basically, what I like about this place is the rapid delivery service and somewhat the prices. One of my fave sandwiches is the Majorca Station and the Lejune Station. Breakfast is good and for the winter time the HOT CHOCOLATE IS THE BEST ! Love the strawberry and banana smoothie !

i dont even know where this place is.. but we order delivery from here every now and then. they have decent prices and portions. i can never remember the names of what i like.. all the "____ station" names throw me off a bit. but the chef salad is probably my favorite thing to order from here. they load it with meats and cheeses! only minor annoyance is that several times something on one of the orders will be messed up. like grilled chicken instead of chicken salad, or no tomatoes instead of no lettuce.

When I order lunch to be delivered to my office in the Gables, 9 out of 10 times, I call Alhambra Station Cafe. They make great fresh sandwiches which also come with chips. I always order the Merrick Station on french baguette which has prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, a home-made vinaigrette, and sun-dried tomatoes. If you are able to finish this sandwich at lunch, you probably won't be hungry for dinner. For under $10 you can have a solid meal delivered to you with a beverage. It usually takes less than 30 minutes to be delivered and probably no longer than 45 minutes even if you call right at 12pm. If you're interested in dining in, they have a little dining area that I visited when I was in the building. It was very clean. I go around Miami looking for the best prosciutto and fresh mozzarella sandwiches--and you can't go wrong with ordering from here. It's consistently good!

not impressed. the delivery takes eons and i made a simple request for my sandwich: hold the prosciutto. repeated it three times in two languages. our food got here over an hour later. one of the three soups we ordered had spilled everywhere, yet my sandwich was miraculously spared. i was about to dig in, thinking i had gotten really lucky when BAM, faceful of prosciutto. also, the sandwich was cold (after i asked if the sandwich came toasted or cold and she answered TOASTED AND HOT) and soggy as hell. SO GROSS. broccoli and cheese soup was pretty good but i ate it with a shit-face because i was cheated out of my sandwich and practically my whole lunch hour on the phone with them demanding a refund for my terrible sandwich. they did send us two free large soups but the apology was way too snotty and defensive. i don't care that the delivery guy is on a bicycle. so it every other delivery guy in coral gables and also? NOT MY PROBLEM. i'm not ordering from here again.
